Best CD Rates | Bank Of The West Cuts CD Rates

If any of you are currently banking with Bank of the West, then toy will be very dissapointed with what I have found about of their decrease in interest rates. Once again as I have mentioned before, this cut by the feds is leaving banks with no answers to provide customers about low cd rates and low savings rates.

As a matter of fact Bank of the West made cuts on up to 9 CD’s. That is just huge, especially when you factor in that they also made changes at other locations, this caused over 30 cd rates to just drastically change all at once. What are people to do?

I hate to say this, but there really is nothing you can do. You will just have to wait it out for the bigger and stronger banks to recover which will trickle down to smaller banks and so on. It’s all about the buying market and the economy which is just killing investments. The stock market doesn’t look much better either. So if you think that you have a shot at getting a cd rate above 3% like it used to be, think again.
