Interest on bank cd rates has not been the usual, but may take a turn later. For now I wanted to examone the breach between the average national rate for CD’s and the Best CD rates that are out there right now. Stocks are down today because the federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke has given big scares amongst investors of the economy going south for the time being.  Thes warnings have grown stronger more than ever especially after a Philadelphia Federal Reserve survey outrightedly points to  regional manufacturing activity decining a great deal this month.

Now I am one to agree on this matter. The fact that this is happening with the economy will no doubt effect the cd rates that you have. As investors, it always looks more temting to invest overseas. This is because more and more things are outsourced to other countries that were not before. Which amounts to less jobs for people residing in the US and more for people elsewhere. So having time to look for the best cd rates online might have just gotten a little tougher. We will have to see how the investing and economy holds up under the pressure and see if the CD rates that banks can offer will even add up once again.
