First Union Credit Union has regular deals on their CD rates, so you might want to check back. This particular deal is for a 12 month term. Currently they have a deal called the First 500 Savings account in which you receive 7% on the first $500 you deposit into the account. This account earns dividends on any balance and requires an initial $5 deposit that’s just a one time deal.
