NASA Federal Credit Union 18 Month CD

NASA Federal Credit Union is holding out a nice Bank CD promotion for the Month of February. This is a 3.50% APY 18-month certificate. In order to receive the rate you will need to have a checking account at NASA Federal Credit Union, as well as have direct deposit tied to the account each time. The minimum on that is $500.

To open the certificate of deposit you will need to deposit a minimum of $2000. If you do not maintain the requirements for this Cd then the CD rate drops to 3.00%. This Bank CD is good as of 2/2/2009 and could change at anytime, but should be able to be obtained for the rest of the month.

Don’t think that you can’t join because you are not employee of NASA or don’t have a family member working there. There is a way to join through the American Consumer Council. Which then will allow you to join the Credit Union if you fund a savings account.
