Fed Cuts CD Interest Rates
The Feds seem to always cut CD interest rates when they are trying to bring the economy back to a certain level. This means that certificate of deposit rates with a lot of the national banks can go down too. Luckily there are some solid cd rates that you can get that still have great return if you are a saver.
Some of the best cd rates are still out there and I will be posting more on them in the future. The fact of the matter is just because the Feds lower interest rates on certificate of deposits, doesnt mean that you shouldn’t invest. Cd’s are a good safe bet and are great for long term with very little risk. Investing in more niche related mutual funds can be scary and risky if you don’t make a good choice.
Giving it time, you will see some of the best cd rates in the future as the economy starts coming back up. If you don’t have too I would not advise you to make more risky investments unless you have the money too lose and it won’t mean as much. You may want to just stick with a certificate of deposit rate that is adjustable, as I have mentioned in a previous post. This will ensure that you are on the right track, and that you will really get a solid earning for your investment.
