Best CD Rates | Maryland CD Rates

One of the Maryland CD rates we were disappointed in was SECU Credit Union. They didn’t do so well, and they definitely did not make our cut of the best cd rates. this small credit Union is just a prime example of how the smaller guys can’t always offer up what some of the larger banks can.

If you take a look at the Jumbo CD Rates that they offer, they only equal up to the low end of another CD rate somewhere else. But the problem is that unless you have a lot of money to invest, you are going to have a hard time finding any rate worth your time currently here.

The Jumbo CD Rate requires $100,000 dollars investment, and the one year APY rate is 4.50%. This really does not seem to add up well. Either way, if you are just comfortable with the small credit union thats a hometown favorite, then you will most likely settle. Whatever you decide to do just remember that currently you are looking at only a 4.00% range of APY with this credit union.
