Best CD Rates | American National Bank CD Rates

One of the banks I was looking at today was American National Bank. Their cd rates are not what you would expect, but the feds have cut rates really bad, and this has had an effect on most if not all smaller banks. One of those banks that I want to look over is American National Bank.

Take a look at their term. Its 7-30 days. Their rates are all really low. If you thought you were making money on .80% cd rates then you have fun with that, but from what I see your almost better off investing in their savings accounts.

Now just a little background on this bank, they have about 21 locations in Nebraska. They offer commercial banking as well as online banking. In my opinion you are better off trying a larger bank than these guys. I am sure they take care of their customers locally, but they most likely will continue to offer low cd rates for a while. Consider maybe a bond or mutual funds if anything else.
